If you purchased the item under your Etsy Account, here are the quick and easy steps you can take in order to leave a review on the item. Didn’t use an Etsy Account and checked out as a guest? No problem. We will go over that too (you can scroll down to the next section!)

STEP 1: LOGIN TO YOUR ETSY ACCOUNT AND CLICK ON YOUR ACCOUNT/PHOTO ON THE TOP RIGHT SIDE OF YOUR SCREEN

STEP 2: CLICK ON PURCHASES AND REVIEWS FROM THE DROP DOWN MENU

STEP 3: FIND THE PURCHASE MADE FROM OUR SHOP

If you’ve purchase from multiple different shops, you can see the item’s listing and the name of the shop on this page and you can scroll to find the item you’d like to review.

STEP 4: CLICK TO LEAVE A POSITIVE REVIEW IF YOU ENJOYED YOUR PURCHASE & EXPERIENCE AND INCLUDE A PHOTO IF YOU CAN!

STEP 1: OPEN YOUR EMAIL INBOX (THE EMAIL ADDRESS YOU USED TO CHECKOUT AS A GUEST)

STEP 2: LOCATE THE EMAIL RECEIPT YOU RECEIVED WHEN YOU PLACED YOUR ORDER. THIS EMAIL IS SENT FROM TRANSACTION@ETSY.COM.

STEP 3: CLICK THE ORDER NUMBER IN THE FIRST LINE OF YOUR RECEIPT.

STEP 4: SIGN IN OR CREATE AN ETSY ACCOUNT ON ETSY.COM.

When can I leave a review on a product I purchased on Etsy?
- You can leave a review on Etsy after the item has been delivered for 100 days from that date or, in the case of digital downloads, 100 days after you have downloaded some or all of the files.
What should I write in my Etsy review?
- Your review should assist future customers and the shop owner. Think about both parties when writing your review. What did you like about the product/experience? How is the quality of the item? What about the packaging? Was it shipped in a reasonable amount of time? Be honest and try to use descriptive words that will give others a picture of the product and experience you got. (Uploading a photo helps too!)
Should I always give 5 Stars?
- We believe that our shop should always provide a 5 Star experience when it comes to both the products and customer service. If you think you may want to give less than 5 Stars, we highly recommend reaching out to the shop directly first to give them a chance to correct the issue. It is always kind to provide constructive criticism to the shop privately first so they can provide you with that 5 star service that you deserve. It is beneficial for the shop owners to get that feedback directly to take your feedback into consideration for future products or processes as well. Giving anything less than 5 Stars on Etsy can really ding a shop’s ability to be seen by other future customers, so keep that in mind when leaving your review.
Can I edit my review after I post it?
- Yes. You have up to 100 days after purchase to edit your review.
