THE SIMPLEST ADDRESS BOOK FOR STAYING UP-TO-DATE & ORGANIZED

Your rolodex is likely full of crossed out addresses and handwriting that you can barely read, and your phone is full of partial contacts that are separated and to be honest, you don’t even know if they still live there! Everyone has a different way of keeping addresses and contacts organized, but I thought I would share the simplest address book that I have found that allows you to stay up-to-date and organized - and it is completely free!

POSTABLE’S ADDRESS BOOK

Postable’s Address Book is your one-stop-shop for contact and address organization. It is completely online, so you can login from any phone or computer wherever you are, and it is so easy to use. If you would like to keep your addresses and contact information organized, up-to-date, and all in one spot, this is for you. It allows you to store all of these things for each contact:

• Title (formality)

• First Name & Last Name

• Company

• Full Address

• Phone Number

• Email Address

• Birthday

• Spouse’s title (formality)

• Spouse’s Name

• Spouse’s Birthday

• Anniversary Date

• Kids’ Name(s) 

• Kids’ Birthday(s)

• Notes about the contact

Postable’s Address Book is organized digitally in alphabetical order, but you can also search for a name and it comes right to the top! With all that info, you can fill out your calendar with everyone’s birthday, be prepared when sending out birthday and anniversary cards because you can find it all in one place, and you can always look up your second cousin’s kids name that you always seem to forget! And for those people who you don’t need all that info, you only have to fill out the details you want or have.

FEATURES

The “Notes” section is a great addition too. My husband has a very large family and I sometimes have a hard time remembering who is who, so I have a note about each one in their notes section to remind me! 

Another feature that I love about Postable’s Address Book is that it allows you to create groups of contacts. This is perfect for Christmas Card Lists, Wedding Invite Lists, Party Invite Lists, and more! You can keep them all organized so you know who you are sending what to. You can also create things like “Family Birthday” groups, and “Anniversary Card” groups so you know who you have decided to send bday and anniversary cards to throughout the year. 

I think my favorite thing about Postable’s Address Book is that you have the option to either upload the contacts and information all yourself, OR you can send a link via email or text to all your contacts and they can put in all the information themselves! This makes it so much simpler for you because you can send out one link and then your address book will begin to populate itself (so long as everyone fills it out). This feature is wonderful for Wedding Planning so the future couple can send this out to everyone they are considering inviting, and then from that moment on, they already have a family address book put together for future years! It also allows you to send a request for people to update their address - but you also have the ability to update it yourself.

The last feature that I will touch on, that is specifically helpful when planning large events with many of your contacts - especially weddings - is that it allows you to export your contacts into an excel document format which is perfect for sharing with your envelope calligrapher, online addressing service, or even making your own address labels. 

OVERALL

Postable Address Book is as much or as little as you make it. You can keep it very simple and just put names and addresses, or you can get more technical and use every feature that it has. Either way, it is a great place to keep everything organized and it is just so simple!
